A short note on 'Fiction, Fact and Truth'

Fiction is a made-up story. It is a story created by imagination. Fiction, the word has come from 'fingere', a Latin word which means to make or shape. It is often said that fiction is unreal, false because there are things not actually happened. Yet it is true and real in the sense that those things are more probable to happen and exist in future.

Fact is taken as 'truth'. It has come from Latin word 'facere' which means to do or do. It is real, a thing that has been done and has happened.
In 'fact', something is supposed to have happened and there is no further existence. In fiction, though it is unreal, product of human imagination, it is supposed to happen in future. There is still possibility of occurrence. The event can have real existence in present.
History is also a recorded version of things that have happened really. At least while reading, they are supposed to have happened. History combines both the elements of fact and fiction.
Fact and fiction are not contrary. Fact must be fiction to exist for a long. Fiction gives shape to the factual events. Fiction doesn't only work on factual details or data. A fiction is not always made story, it is also made-up story. Sometimes, the events become unnatural or unreal person correspond to the real life with possible fictional details. In fiction, there are many shades of coloration. The factual events are combined with imaginative details that help writers shape a new picture of life.
Fiction doesn't work on social or existential reality. Fiction is possible through imaginative characters who aren't real persons more identical ones.
In conclusion, we can say that fiction gives shape even to things happened and gives some events which can happen in future. Though the word fiction is itself believed to be unreal, it works as a means to present the history or event that really had happened through certain imaginative scene or characters.
